  Similar to the 6P™, but a little larger and much more powerful, the SureFire 9P™ Original incandescent flashlight is ready, willing, and able. The weatherproof housing is CNC machined from aerospace grade aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec hard anodized coating. Powered by three lithium batteries, the 9P™ delivers an amazing 105 lumens. With the optional P91 lamp installed your illumination jumps to 200 lumens. The beam is smooth, brilliant, prefocused, and seven times brighter than a big two D cell flashlight. When holstered the 9P™ is an unobtrusive addition to your duty belt. When held, it is comfortable, and quick to operate. The tail cap switch is a necessary and tactically correct feature that facilitates the use of the preferred overhand grip. Instinctively, your hand will know exactly where to point your light & your thumb will locate the tail cap momentary-on switch immediately.   Tungsten Filaments

  To achieve maximum light output, SureFire lamps feature a tungsten filament in a high pressure xenon/halogen gas atmosphere.

  No need to twist the bezel to adjust the beam, it's already perfectly prefocused. Lamps and reflectors are individually mated and hand-adjusted to within .005" for optimum beam quality at all distances.
