Yes, the UM2 features the same no-look selector ring that provides quick access to six preset output levels ranging from a long-runtime 5 lumens setting all the way up to an impressive high-output setting of 600 lumens—all activated with just a click. But this new model features a one-of-a-kind TIR optic that creates a beam that’s a cross between the high-intensity patterns produced by our patented TIR optics, like that found on our Backup® models, and the broader but still-far-reaching reflector- focused beams created by our popular Fury models. This unique TIR lens forms a smooth beam optimized for both range and peripheral illumination. The UM2 has a lightweight, durable Mil-Spec hard- anodized aluminum body—that’s been completely redesigned—and a heavy duty pocket clip that permits multiple carry options. It keeps you in control.
